Diagnosed when your systolic reading consistently tops 140 mmHg and your diastolic tops 90 mmHg, it demands proactive monitoring. Whether you need help with lifestyle changes or prescription management, our clinical team uses up-to-date technology to diagnose and track your condition. Why High Blood Pressure Is So Risky

If It’s Manageable, Why Is Hypertension So Dangerous?

Often called a “silent killer” because it frequently has no warning signs or symptoms, hypertension is dangerous because it increases the risk of stroke, heart attack, and other cardiovascular diseases. It can damage arteries, leading to aneurysms, kidney failure, vision loss, and peripheral artery disease, and may even contribute to cognitive decline and dementia.

Hypertension has a significant impact on your overall health, raising your risk for:

  • Heart attack
  • Stroke
  • Vascular disease
  • Kidney disease or failure
  • Vision loss
  • Chest pain (angina)
  • Peripheral artery disease
