Dr. Ranga Kattegummula brings more than 20 years of experience to Primary Care Centers of Texas. Board-certified in Internal Medicine, he is committed to delivering compassionate, comprehensive medical care to adults across Texas. He believes in an integrated, proactive approach to health and wellness—focusing not only on treating illness but also on optimizing long-term health.
Medical Training and Experience
Dr. Kattegummula completed his medical training through the Chicago Medical School-affiliated hospital system and earned his board certification in Internal Medicine in 1983. Shortly after, he relocated to Texas and launched his own private practice. Since then, he has built a reputation for quality care, managing both routine and complex health conditions with dedication and precision.
In 2022, he moved to Katy, Texas, to be closer to his family while continuing his mission of providing high-quality primary care. Outside of medicine, Dr. Kattegummula enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time with his wife and three children.
